Processing: capsule rolling

Astra is the compact distribution and rolling monoblock by Robino & Galandrino, designed to ensure precision, speed, and reliability in the placement and application of polylaminate and tin capsules on glass bottles.

Equipped with a horizontal or long autonomy capsule magazine with bottom loading, the machine ensures operational continuity even under intense production conditions. The mechanical pre-extraction system allows for smooth capsule selection before expulsion into the bell.

The machine consists of an elliptical-rotary movement capsule distribution system, available in single bell configuration (up to 8,000 b/h) or multi-bell configuration (up to 21,000 b/h).

The rolling turret is equipped with new generation mechanical or pneumatic rotating heads by Robino & Galandrino, protected by international patents, ensuring uniform, delicate, and high-quality processing on each capsule.

The machine is fully managed by PLC, with speed control via inverter and equipped with CE safety protections, to ensure maximum safety and ease of use.
